My middle potentially has ADHD as well but they won’t test her until next year when she starts kindergarten. My oldest has ADHD and needs a super structured day. I learned through my own transformation that what I was missing is taking care of me as much as I’ve taken care of them. Many times when we become parents we give our all to them and then when they are away…we feel so lost or incomplete. The greatest things I’ve found to help are to find and “do” my purpose/passions. It usually takes me a few weeks to get into a new groove without them around. I’ll have my 19 month old with me all day but I’m looking forward to giving her the one-on-one time that she deserves. I’ve been counting the days until they are back in school so I can actually get things accomplished during the day…lol.
